Consumables is a category of items in Tyranny. Food, potions, and other substances are all consumable items, meaning that they go away when they are used. Every character has several Quick Item slots that represent the consumables that can be used during combat.

Food items provide long-term benefits to the character who eats them, but they're not very strong.

Potions and herbs can be consumed for powerful bonuses that last for a short duration.
