When a character is attacked and the hit result has been determined, the target's Deflection percentage is checked. Deflection can reduce an attack by one hit result (e.g. a Graze can convert to a Miss). Deflection is a property of equippable clothing and Armor and is also present in talents and abilities. Each modifier to a character's Deflection lists the type of hit result it converts, as well as the percentage chance it will do so when the character is struck. The types of Deflection are:

  • Crit to Hit Deflection, Hit to Graze Deflection, and Graze to Miss Deflection

The Finesse Attribute increases the amount of Deflection granted by equipped Armor.
