Background

When a Bastard City noblewoman commissioned a special push dagger, she emphasized that it was supposed to deliver death in a quick and unexpected succession of stabs. Backing down on her murderous scheme at the last moment earned this storied blade its name, though subsequent owners may not have shown similar restraint.
