Aurora, Stone Shield of the Second Cohort, is one of the veterans of the original Apex campaign two years prior. She is part of the contingent sent to quell the uprising of the Oathbreakers. All things considered, she has been serving with the Disfavored for over seven years, interrupted by a brief stint at Fort Resolution just before the Conquest. Still, she is one of the younger members of the Legion.
Aurora is the first character the player interacts with and serves to demonstrate the game's reactivity. For example, if you chose to govern Lethian's Crossingand favored the Disfavored, she will remark on this fact and recognize you.
With Lore 20, you can point out that the collapse that sealed you in the valley was magical in nature. This is one of many skill checks that provide skill experience and level them up. Another check (Subterfuge 20) allows you to point out the mistrust between the two armies.
She will provide combat support until you reach Verse and then break off.
