Battle stances are Modal Talents that can be toggled on and off. Its effects occur continuously while it is active. Only one stance can be active at any given time.
When a Modal Talent is deactivated, all Modal abilities go into recovery - no other Modals can be activated during this period. Moving will temporarily halt the recovery of Modal Abilities until your character stops moving.
