Forge is a Spire upgrade in Tyranny.

Background[ | ]

The Forge upgrade allows you to improve weapons and armor and forge powerful new items. Once built, resting in any Spire grants a bonus to Armor, Parry, and Dodge.

Features[ | ]

  • Vollus, Master of Smiths manages your Forge. He will create weapons for you, unlock new recipes as you discover plans, and generally make himself useful. The availability of items and recipes depends on the number of recruits and Spire resources you have.

Upgrades[ | ]

  • Accessing any of the anvils will allow you to upgrade the quality of your equipment. Each upgrade costs rings and Spire resources, and requires a certain amount of forge recruits. It also takes time. This is an excellent option to improve companions' unique gear or Barik's fused armor.

All values are given for armor, one-handed weapons and shields. Two-handed weapons require an additional ingot of metal per quality level above Fine (i.e. a Superior two-handed bronze axe will take 3 ingots to forge, not 2, while an Exquisite version will require 6, not 4)
