Maric is a character in Tyranny.
Background
Maric the Watcher is the Lord of Scouts and commander of the Oath Bound. He is one of the Legion's greatest warriors, but prefers to avoid fighting. Tall and thin, he' seems like a giant spear-toting scarecrow from afar, prowling among his scouts. The campaigning in the Tiers and the losses incurred by the Oath Bound have led him to question Ashe's leadership and conviction, but he serves the Archon nonetheless. His latest assignment to the Burning Library was cut short when the Chorus ambushed him and his men, with aid from the Sages. He himself was taken when he was resting.
