Description

The Sages at your library combed through ancient scrolls, searching for hints of items of power. They found a few fragments that mentioned a shield worn by an Archon of old, with power over the Bane. This ancient shield was known only as 'The Baneward'.

Your Sages believe that, with the right sigils inscribed while forging a shield, you can recreate the effects of the Baneward.
