Welby is a character in Tyranny.

A tall woman stands here, surveying the area from a small overlook. She glances at you and immediately goes back to watching her surroundings.
Welby is the First-Axe of the Bronze Brotherhood, the bodyguard of the First Brother, Raetommon. She is far more level headed than her boss and certainly understands why Voices of Nerat bought their contract. However, she does not appreciate being jerked around by Kyros - or anyone else for that matter. However, Welby thinks that Raetommon could do better than just look for a fight with Kyros. His pattern of increasingly paranoid and manic behavior leads her to believe that he'll march the Brotherhood off the cliff to pursue his demons.
In her words, he's the child in control of an army capable of laying waste to his home.

- Disfavored
- The Bronze Thief: Welby is encountered at the Twin Rivers later on, as Raetommon flees into the Oldwalls with the Magebane. She will provide information on where to find Myrek and the keystone to access the Oldwalls, then promptly die.
- Anarchist and Chorus
- Artifact Hunter, On the Hunt: Welby is encountered at Twin Rivers and is much more pliable. She will direct you to the Deserter's March to get the keystone to the ruins from Myrek.
- Rebels
- In the Shadow of the Oldwalls: Welby serves the same purpose as above. However, you can recruit her as a follower to participate in your attack on Raetommon, giving you the ability to later recruit the Brotherhood to your cause.
